Where a Public Sector organisation is buying higher-value goods or services (typically above £20k-£50k – depending on the individual organisation), it will run a Tender exercise.
This is a different process to lower-value contracts. A tender advert will give specific details regarding how interested suppliers should contact the tendering organisation for further information, and how a bid should be submitted.
